Breakdown lake bed organic buildup and support depth

Remedi lake Blend  is an advanced biological treatment for larger, lakes and ponds with widespread sludge, muck, decaying, vegetation, and fibrous organic debris.

It combines a six strain microbial consortium with extra cellular enzymes and fungal components to help address cellulose rich material that contributes to lake bed buildup.

  • Sludge and muck
  • Fibrous plant debris
  • Organic sediment buildup

What is Remedi AQUA?

Remedi AQUA is a microbial bioremediation treatment designed for larger freshwater systems, including lakes, large ponds, reservoirs, and lagoons. It combines a six-strain bacterial consortium with enzymes and a fungal component to help process organic debris, sludge, muck, and fibrous plant material.
It is intended for long-term lake-management programs—not as a one-time replacement for proper aeration, runoff control, or mechanical sediment removal when those measures are needed.

What problems can AQUA LAKE help address?

It is designed to help manage organic conditions associated with:

  • Bottom sludge and muck
  • Dead leaves, decaying vegetation, and fibrous debris
  • Organic odors and discoloration
  • Organic loading from runoff, feed, and accumulated debris
  • Shoreline and shallow-zone organic buildup
  • Reduced depth caused by soft, organic sediment

Results depend on the amount and type of sediment, water temperature, dissolved oxygen, circulation, nutrient inputs, and continued organic loading.
How is AQUA different from standard pond bacteria?

AQUA is formulated for larger water bodies and difficult fibrous organic material. In addition to bacterial spores, it includes a cellulase-focused enzyme package and fungal biology intended to help process cellulose-rich plant debris that can form the structural matrix of lakebed muck.

That makes it especially relevant where leaf litter, aquatic vegetation, shoreline debris, and other plant-based material contribute to sludge accumulation.

How does the treatment work?

The microbial system is designed to produce enzymes that break larger organic materials into smaller compounds. The
microorganisms then use those compounds as nutrients, helping support the natural decomposition process.

  • Cellulase activity helps process fibrous plant material.
  • Enzyme activity helps break down proteins, fats, oils, complex sugars, and other organic residue.
  • Facultative organisms are selected to remain active across changing oxygen conditions.
  • Even dispersion helps the treatment contact more of the affected water body.
Can AQUA reduce lake muck or increase depth?

It may help reduce the organic portion of soft sludge and muck over time when used consistently with proper aeration and source control. It cannot remove mineral sediment, sand, clay, rocks, or decades of accumulated material in a single season.

For severe sediment accumulation or a project requiring major depth restoration, mechanical dredging may still be necessary. Biological treatment can be part of a maintenance program or a pre-dredging strategy to reduce the organic component of sediment.

How should AQUA be applied?

Follow the current product label and a site-specific treatment plan. The supplied technical guidance recommends
mixing the powder with lake water and dispersing it evenly across the treatment area.

  • Confirm the surface acreage and assess the lake or pond condition.
  • Mix the product with lake water according to the label.
  • Distribute evenly by boat or other appropriate application method.
  • Apply maintenance doses near aeration points when directed.
  • Maintain circulation and aeration, then monitor water quality and sediment conditions over time.
What dosage should I use?

Use the current product label as the controlling instruction. The supplied technical information provides this starting
framework:

Treatment phase

  • Initial shock treatment: 2 lb per surface acre, mixed with 20–30 gallons of lake water and dispersed evenly.
  • Week 3 treatment: 1 lb per surface acre, mixed with 20–30 gallons of lake water and dispersed evenly.
  • Maintenance treatment: 8 oz per surface acre every 4 weeks, applied at aeration points.

Best performance is described for water temperatures above 55°F. Confirm the final label, local requirements, and
project-specific conditions before application.

Will AQUA LAKE clear algae or treat cyanobacteria?

No. AQUA LAKE should be positioned as a biological treatment for organic loading, sludge, muck, and nutrient
conditions—not as an algaecide or cyanobacteria-control product.
It may support water-management conditions that are less favorable to recurring organic buildup, but do not claim it kills
algae, prevents blooms, neutralizes cyanotoxins, or treats harmful algal blooms unless those claims are supported by
the required testing, labeling, and regulatory authorization.

How long does it take to see results?

Biological lake treatment is gradual. Some activity begins after application under suitable conditions, but meaningful
changes in odor, water clarity, soft muck, or shoreline debris generally require consistent treatment over weeks,
months, or seasons.

  • Warm water and adequate oxygen generally support biological activity.
  • High ongoing runoff, leaves, feed, or sediment loading can slow progress.
  • Aeration, debris removal, and nutrient-source control improve the likelihood of success.
  • Use bathymetric surveys or consistent depth measurements for major long-term sediment projects.
Is AQUA LAKE safe for fish, wildlife, and people?

Use only as directed on the current product label and Safety Data Sheet. For stocked lakes, aquaculture systems,
drinking-water sources, public waters, or environmentally sensitive sites, use a qualified lake-management professional
and monitor dissolved oxygen, pH, ammonia, nitrite, temperature, and aquatic-life response.
Immediately investigate fish stress, fish loss, unusual odor, harmful algal blooms, or suspected contamination. Do not
rely on a biological treatment alone to manage an acute water-quality emergency.
