What is REMEDI PET AIR?

REMEDI PET AIR is the homeowner-labeled version of the REMEDI AIR odor-control formula. It is designed to help reduce common home odors by combining odor-control chemistry with biological digestion of compatible organic odor sources.

What odors can PET AIR help with?

It is intended for persistent everyday odors such as:

  • Pet urine and pet-area odors
  • Litter-box odors
  • Smoke odors
  • Trash and refuse odors
  • Food, fabric, and stale-room odors

Results depend on removing the underlying source, treating the complete affected area, and allowing adequate contact
time.

Does PET AIR only cover up odors?

No. The supplied AIR data describes a multi-part approach: odor-control chemistry helps reduce detectable malodor, while bacteria-derived enzymes help break down compatible organic residue that can contribute to recurring smells. It is not intended to be just a perfume or air freshener.

How do I use PET AIR around the home?

Shake gently before use. Apply directly to the odor source and nearby affected surfaces, or use it for room deodorizing as directed on the current label. Allow treated areas to air-dry naturally. Remove visible pet waste, food residue, or heavy soil first whenever practical.

Can I use PET AIR in a cat litter box?

Only if the final PET AIR label specifically permits it. If permitted, lightly apply the label-directed amount to the litter and rake it through evenly; do not soak the litter or create wet clumps. Observe your cat after introducing any new litter-box product, and stop use if your cat avoids the box or shows discomfort.

Why use a fragrance-free approach near cats?

Cats have highly sensitive noses, and strong scents can discourage them from using a litter box. The supplied PET AIR+ label describes a fragrance-free formula. Keep the final homeowner product fragrance-free or clearly disclose any scent, and rely on source treatment, daily scooping, and regular box cleaning rather than strong perfume.

Can I spray PET AIR directly on my pet?

No. PET AIR is for odor-affected surfaces and areas, not for direct use on an animal’s coat, skin, face, food, water, toys, or bedding unless the final label explicitly says otherwise. Keep pets away from freshly wet treated areas until dry.

Will PET AIR remove stains or replace cleaning?

No. PET AIR is an odor-control product, not a complete stain remover or substitute for cleaning. Remove solid waste, blot fresh urine, wash washable items, and clean visible soil first. Then apply PET AIR to help address residual odor.

How often should I use it?

Use it as needed and according to the final label. For recurring odors, address the source first, then repeat treatment as directed. For litter boxes, scoop daily and replace litter/clean the box on the schedule your litter and cat require.

What if the odor keeps returning?

Persistent odor usually means that source material remains or the full affected area was not treated. Check:

  • Litter-box contents, seams, and floor around the box
  • Carpets, padding, upholstery, and pet bedding
  • Trash bins, drains, and damp materials
  • Smoke residue on fabrics and surfaces

Seek veterinary advice for sudden changes in a pet’s urine, stool, or litter-box habits, and seek qualified help for
sewage, mold, gas, or fire-related odors.
