Preparation
  • Shake gently before use (unless you are
using a Remedi Automatic Delivery System).
  • Consult your Remedi Representative about our Automatic Dispensing System.
Dilution
  • Dilutions according to soil level:
  • Heavy Soil:
    • 4 ounces per gallon of water.
    • 16 ounces per 4 gallon mop bucket.
  • Medium to Light Soil:
    • 2 ounces per gallon of water.
    • 8 ounces per 4 gallon mop bucket.
  • Dilution ratios may be adjusted once floors become restored.
Application
  • Add diluted product to mop bucket.
Proceed to mop floor with diluted solution.
  • Scrub or agitate heavily soiled areas if
necessary, then mop o dissolved soil.

FAQs

Please read our FAQs page to find out more.

What is Remedi FLOOR?

Remedi FLOOR is a concentrated biological floor cleaner for compatible hard floors. It combines surfactants, a Bacillus-based bacterial system, and lipase enzyme activity to help lift and break down grease, fats, oils, proteins, starches, sugars, and other organic soils.

What types of floors can I clean with FLOOR?

FLOOR is intended for compatible hard floors and hard surfaces that are not harmed by water, including tile, grout, vinyl, linoleum, laminate, composite flooring, finished wood, and similar surfaces.
Always test a small, inconspicuous area first. Follow the flooring manufacturer’s cleaning guidance, particularly for
unsealed wood, natural stone, waxed floors, specialty coatings, or surfaces sensitive to water.

How do I dilute FLOOR?

Shake gently before use unless using an automatic dispensing system. Choose dilution based on soil level:

Soil level

  • Heavy soil: 4 ounces per gallon of water; 16 ounces per 4-gallon mop bucket.
  • Medium to light soil: 2 ounces per gallon of water; 8 ounces per 4-gallon mop bucket.

After floors are restored, adjust dilution only as needed for routine maintenance and according to the current product
label.

How do I use FLOOR for everyday mopping?
  1. Sweep or remove loose debris first.
  2. Add the properly diluted product to the mop bucket.
  3. Mop the floor with the diluted solution.
  4. Scrub or agitate heavily soiled areas as needed.
  5. Mop up dissolved soil and replace dirty mop water when necessary.
  6. Allow the floor to dry before normal traffic resumes.
Why do floors become sticky after mopping?

Sticky floors are commonly caused by overusing cleaner, using the wrong dilution, spreading dirty mop water, or leaving detergent and grease residue behind. FLOOR is formulated to help avoid soil-attracting residue when used at the recommended dilution. If a floor remains tacky, reduce product concentration, change mop water more often, remove existing residue with an appropriate floor-cleaning procedure, and follow the flooring manufacturer’s instructions.

Can FLOOR help improve grout lines?

Yes. FLOOR is designed to penetrate compatible grout lines and help digest embedded organic soils, including grease
and oil residue. Visible improvement is gradual and depends on the amount of buildup, grout porosity, cleaning
frequency, and correct dilution.

For heavily soiled grout:

  • Use the heavy-soil dilution.
  • Allow adequate contact time.
  • Agitate gently with a suitable grout brush.
  • Repeat routine cleaning consistently.
  • Avoid aggressive abrasives or acids unless approved for the specific grout and surface.
How does the biological cleaning system work?

Surfactants provide immediate cleaning by lifting soil from the floor. Lipase and bacterial activity then help break down
compatible organic residue after mopping, especially fats, oils, and grease. This is why consistent use can help maintain cleaner grout and reduce recurring organic residue. It is not an instant substitute for deep restoration of severely damaged, stained, or sealed grout.

Can I pour used mop water into floor drains?

When allowed by your facility procedures and local wastewater rules, the product information directs users to pour used
mop-bucket contents into floor drains so the biological system can contact compatible organic residue in plumbing. Never pour mop water into storm drains, outdoors, or locations prohibited by local regulations. Do not use this practice where hazardous materials, petroleum, solvents, heavy metals, or regulated waste may be present.

Will FLOOR unclog drains or eliminate fruit flies?

FLOOR can support routine drain maintenance by helping digest fats, oils, grease, and compatible organic residue that
contribute to drain odors and buildup. It may help reduce conditions that support drain-fly activity when used consistently. It will not clear a fully blocked drain, remove roots or solid obstructions, or replace plumbing repair. Investigate persistent odors, slow drainage, or insect problems for a separate source or maintenance issue.

Is FLOOR a disinfectant or sanitizer?

No. FLOOR is a biological cleaner, not a disinfectant or sanitizer unless the final product label specifically carries those
registrations and directions.
For facilities requiring disinfection, clean the surface first, then apply an appropriate registered disinfectant according to its label. Do not mix FLOOR with bleach, disinfectants, acids, or other products unless the labels specifically permit it.
